The Chicago Bulls waived four players on Saturday to finalize their roster ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season. The team released center Orlando Robinson, forward Jalen Bridges, and guards Brandon Boston Jr. and Drew Peterson, leaving Chicago with 14 players on standard contracts and three two-way players. According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Sports Network, the Bulls plan to keep the 15th standard roster spot open for roster flexibility.
All four waived players joined the team on training-camp or Exhibit 10 contracts and could join the G League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls. Chicago finished the preseason 3-2 after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 133-116 on Friday. Under new head coach Tiago Splitter, who was hired in June, the Bulls are scheduled to open the regular season on Wednesday on the road against the Toronto Raptors.
