DALLAS — Kyrie Irving and Cooper Flagg play their first regular-season game together Wednesday, when the Dallas Mavericks open the 2026-27 season at the Houston Rockets.
Kyrie Irving and Cooper Flagg will play their first regular-season game together Wednesday as the Dallas Mavericks open the 2026-27 season against the Houston Rockets. The matchup at Toyota Center marks Irving's first regular-season appearance in more than 19 months after he missed the entire 2025-26 campaign due to a torn ACL.
The duo shared the court during two preseason games under head coach Dusty May, who emphasized finding chemistry and balancing offensive duties across the roster. Flagg enters the season following a rookie campaign where he averaged 21.0 points, while Irving enters without minutes restrictions.
