DALLAS — Marcus Sasser expects close to 300 family members and friends at American Airlines Center if he makes his Dallas Mavericks debut Friday against the Atlanta Hawks.
Dallas native Marcus Sasser expects nearly 300 family members and friends to attend his Dallas Mavericks debut against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. Mavericks coach Dusty May stated he anticipates playing Sasser slightly in the preseason finale after the guard missed Dallas' first three preseason games due to left adductor tightness.
Dallas acquired Sasser from the Detroit Pistons in a six-team trade in July. His uncle Jason Sasser previously played for the Mavericks and coached him at Red Oak High School, making the upcoming home debut a special family moment.
