The Denver Nuggets fell flat in their season opener against the Thunder, putting up just 84 points. Is it time to panic about the offense already?

Writer Ben Handler argues that the Denver Nuggets must drastically improve their offense after an alarming performance in their season opener. Denver fell 96-84 on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. Despite holding Oklahoma City to under 100 points, the Nuggets' attack faltered severely after scoring just 57 combined points across the final three quarters.
Handler highlights severe offensive inefficiencies, noting Denver shot 38 percent from the field, 27 percent from three-point range, and 64 percent at the free-throw line. The team recorded 22 turnovers against just 17 assists, with Handler emphasizing that Denver will need an elite offense to remain competitive this season.
