Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren will miss at least two more weeks due to an ongoing hamstring injury, the team announced on Sunday. The 22-year-old All-Star sustained the injury on Oct. 23 during Detroit's 128-111 victory against the Miami Heat. Duren has already missed six games and is projected to sit out for at least six more contests, although he has now been cleared for full basketball participation.
Before the season, Duren signed a five-year, $200 million contract extension with Detroit following a breakout campaign where he averaged 19.5 points and 10.5 rebounds. His production dipped to 10.2 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest across 14 playoff appearances last season.
