ESPN has officially hired former New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin as a full-time NBA analyst for the 2026-27 season. The announcement follows the network's recent hiring of former Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd. Lin will appear across ESPN's studio programming, including NBA Today, and serve as a game analyst after previous guest commentary appearances during the 2026 NBA Finals and Summer League.
Lin retired from professional basketball in August 2025 following a championship and Finals MVP season with Taiwan's New Taipei Kings. Meanwhile, Kidd joins the NBA Countdown desk alongside Malika Andrews, Kendrick Perkins, Brian Windhorst, and Shams Charania after parting ways with the Mavericks in May 2026.
