Kristaps Porzingis’ uncertain return leaves the Golden State Warriors weighing their options at center and Draymond Green’s role in their new five-out offense.

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr reported having no new updates regarding center Kristaps Porzingis' ongoing absence due to an unspecified illness. Porzingis initially missed the team's training camp in Hawaii, and Kerr confirmed that he does not know when the big man will return to the roster.
With Porzingis sidelined, the Warriors are testing their frontcourt depth, which features veteran options Draymond Green and Al Horford. Kerr also plans to utilize alternative options at center during the preseason, including Charles Bassey, two-way player Graham Ike, Georges Niang, and rookie Yaxel Lendeborg.
