Warriors reportedly showing trade interest in Pelicans C Yves Missi

The Golden State Warriors have reportedly expressed trade interest in New Orleans Pelicans center Yves Missi, according to a report by Shamit Dua. Golden State is seeking frontcourt reinforcements with center Kristaps Porzingis expected to provide no on-court contributions this season. However, the Pelicans have rebuffed trade inquiries, with head coach Jamahl Mosley aiming to make Missi the centerpiece of the team's defense.

Missi, a 2024 first-round pick earning approximately $3.5 million this season, has averaged 7.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game over his career. Offers from inquiring teams have largely centered on second-round picks, though Golden State would likely need to provide significant draft assets or package additional players to complete a deal.
