Luka Dončić continues his unreal hot streak and leads the Lakers to a big win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Is it time to talk MVP already?
Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić has continued a dominant start to the season, recording a 52-point game to generate significant early MVP buzz. The scoring outburst marked his second 50-point performance of the season as he led the Lakers to a strong 7-2 record over their first nine games.
Dončić's historic run includes multiple consecutive 40-point outings, notably tallying 40 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists in a 116-103 win against the Sacramento Kings. Head coach JJ Redick and opposing coaches have heavily praised his play, with NBA insider Zach Lowe labeling him the early MVP favorite.
