New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson will make a guest appearance as a detective in an upcoming episode of NBC's "Law & Order: SVU." A trailer released on Friday revealed Brunson playing "Detective Madison" alongside star Mariska Hargitay, who portrays Captain Olivia Benson. The episode, titled "Forsaken," is scheduled to air on November 5 at 9 p.m. on NBC and stream on Peacock.

The cameo follows earlier hints from Brunson and Hargitay after the Knicks' championship victory. Hargitay previously joined Brunson on his podcast and rode on the Knicks' victory parade bus, having originally announced the planned guest role during an appearance on the "Today Show" in August.
