ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins jokingly called for an investigation into Oklahoma City Thunder general manager Sam Presti for constructing the league's deepest roster. Speaking on NBA Today, Perkins praised Presti's roster management following Oklahoma City's 116-104 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, emphasizing how the team retained exceptional depth despite losing Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins, and Lu Dort.
Perkins also commented on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 32-point performance in the win, arguing that the guard played with added motivation in response to the NBA's renewed officiating focus on offensive push-off fouls.
