Kings second-year center Maxime Raynaud will be reevaluated in two weeks with a patellar subluxation in his right knee.

Sacramento Kings center Maxime Raynaud sustained a patellar subluxation in his right knee during a preseason game against the Golden State Warriors. The Kings announced that Raynaud will be reevaluated in two weeks. An MRI conducted after the contest ruled out serious ligament damage, though the center is expected to miss the start of the regular season.
The injury occurred when Raynaud crumpled to the court while setting a screen for rookie point guard Darius Acuff. Team personnel and coach Doug Christie attended to him before he was wheeled off the floor. Raynaud, who averaged 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds last season, is slated to back up starting center Domantas Sabonis upon his return.
