If the LA Clippers keep struggling, they should consider a Krsitaps Porzingis trade.

Jack Simone of Clipperholics argues that the LA Clippers should consider trading for Golden State Warriors forward Kristaps Porzingis if their early-season struggles persist. Porzingis is currently away from Golden State, and his contract is not fully guaranteed beyond this season. With the Clippers opening the season at 1-6, Simone believes targeting Porzingis could serve as a financial reset strategy.
Simone suggests the move would effectively give the Clippers an expiring contract, freeing up cap space next summer. The writer notes that Los Angeles could look to offload longer multi-year deals, mentionable contracts including Darius Garland, Brandon Ingram, or Rui Hachimura, especially if Golden State includes future draft capital to facilitate the trade.
