Freshly-signed Lakers star Austin Reaves revealed general manager Rob Pelinka came to him for decisions on how to build the team's new roster.

Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Austin Reaves revealed that general manager Rob Pelinka sought his input on roster additions during the offseason. Fresh off signing a four-year, $185 million contract extension, Reaves joins co-star Luka Doncic in having a voice regarding the team's personnel decisions with front-office management.
Reaves' new contract makes him the highest-paid undrafted player in NBA history, surpassing players such as Fred VanVleet and Duncan Robinson. The commitment follows a strong campaign where Reaves averaged 23.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game across 51 appearances.
