The Los Angeles Lakers improved to 5-2 with a 131-125 win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, but head coach JJ Redick was far from satisfied…

Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick issued a warning to his bench players following a 131-125 victory against the Toronto Raptors. Redick expressed frustration over players passing up open three-point shots and nearly surrendering a 14-point advantage late in the contest. He noted that players who refuse to shoot when open will be removed from games.
The late-game lineup of Bronny James, Quentin Grimes, Cameron Carr, Jaden Hardy, and Jarred Vanderbilt allowed an 11-2 Toronto run in the final minutes. The collapse forced Redick to reinsert his starters to secure the win. Redick stated he would not make the mistake of deploying unprepared reserves late in games again.
