The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly signed 6-foot-11 center Rafael Castro to an Exhibit 10 contract. The 23-year-old undrafted big man will have an opportunity to compete for a spot on the regular season roster during the preseason, or the team may waive him and assign him to the G League.
Castro joins the Lakers after playing the 2025-26 season at George Washington University, where he averaged 15.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game. His signing comes as center Walker Kessler nurses a finger injury, leaving Kevon Looney to log preseason minutes.
