With the 2025-26 season right around the corner, Luka Doncic is hard at work preparing for the grind. Even in the face of so many roster changes, Doncic is feeling good about his team and their chances for success.
Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic has filed an international petition under the Hague Convention to bring his daughters from Slovenia to the United States. According to reporting from The Athletic's Dan Woike, the filing comes amid an ongoing custody dispute between Doncic and his ex-fiancée, Anamaria Goltes. Doncic is seeking effective exercise of his rights of access to his children.
The dispute escalated following a reported December 2025 altercation involving their newborn daughter Gabriella, leading to protracted legal battles over visitation and support. Doncic hoped to resolve the matter by late September, but returned to the United States for Lakers training camp without a final resolution.
