An 11-man rotation powered by the newfound depth should be the expectation for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2026-27.

Lake Show Life writer Svyatoslav Rovenchuk projects the Los Angeles Lakers' rotation for the upcoming 2026-27 season, considering head coach JJ Redick's aim to utilize a deeper lineup. Rovenchuk projects a starting five of Luka Doncic at point guard, Austin Reaves at shooting guard, Quentin Grimes at small forward, Ziaire Williams at power forward, and Walker Kessler at center.
The projection features Collin Sexton as the sixth man receiving around 25 minutes, followed by Sandro Mamukelashvili, Matisse Thybulle, Cameron Carr, and Adou Thiero off the bench. Rovenchuk also notes that the 11th rotation spot could flex depending on matchups, with players such as Kevon Looney, Jake LaRavia, Bronny James, and Jaden Hardy earning situational minutes.
