Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton revealed that high performance fees nearly prevented him from booking a major music artist for his wedding. Speaking to Speedy Morman on the Boardroom show, Haliburton shared that some artists requested up to $750,000 for a 30-minute set, leading him to decline despite offering to cover travel accommodations.
Rapper 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, ultimately assisted Haliburton and gave him a surprise wedding performance. Haliburton explained that he developed a relationship with the artist through Sire Spirits, Jackson's company that serves as an official partner of the Indiana Pacers.
