NBA Trade Rumors: Lakers’ Bronny James, Domantas Sabonis, Warriors & More

Sean Deveney reports on early-season trade speculation across the NBA, highlighting rival interest in Lakers guard Bronny James and Kings center Domantas Sabonis. According to an NBA executive, other teams have shown genuine interest in trading for James as a developmental 3-and-D guard, potentially fetching second-round picks. Meanwhile, Sabonis addressed recent offseason trade rumors by insisting reports were made up, though the Kings previously engaged in trade discussions and may evaluate his market in January following knee surgery.

Deveney also details several contract situations and potential trade targets across the league, noting that Jalen Duren finalized a five-year, $200 million deal with the Detroit Pistons. Additionally, Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski is seeking an extension ahead of the October 19 deadline as the team balances long-term salary cap flexibility.
