The Miami Heat have officially waived Ezra Ausar, Kylor Kelley, Gabe Madsen, and Bez Mbeng ahead of the regular season. All four players were signed to Exhibit 10 contracts and are expected to join Miami's NBA G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Under their Exhibit 10 deals, each player can earn a bonus of up to $91,000 if they spend at least 60 days with the Skyforce.
Following these roster cuts, the Heat's roster stands at 17 players, which includes 12 on fully guaranteed contracts, three on two-way deals, Myron Gardner on a partially guaranteed deal, and Nick Richards on a non-guaranteed contract.
