The Miami Heat have officially placed Ezra Ausar, Kylor Kelley, Gabe Madsen, and Bez Mbeng on waivers ahead of the regular season. All four players were signed to Exhibit 10 contracts and are expected to join the Heat's G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce. They can each earn a bonus of up to $91,000 by spending at least 60 days with the Skyforce.
Following the cuts, Miami's roster stands at 17 players, consisting of 12 fully guaranteed contracts, three two-way deals, Myron Gardner on a partially guaranteed deal, and Nick Richards on a non-guaranteed contract. The moves position Richards to potentially secure his fully guaranteed minimum salary for the regular season.
