The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 105-90 in a preseason matchup at Spectrum Center, dropping Milwaukee to a 1-2 record. Brandon Miller led Charlotte with 18 points in 23 minutes, while Tyler Herro paced the Bucks with 18 points of his own. Despite an early 10-2 lead for Milwaukee, Charlotte took control behind an up-tempo transition offense and closed the first half on a 13-0 run to build a 60-45 advantage.
Milwaukee struggled throughout the game from long distance, including shooting 3-of-17 from beyond the arc in the second quarter. The Hornets expanded their lead to 20 points in the third quarter behind contributions from Naz Reid, Moussa Diabate, and Ryan Kalkbrenner. Charlotte held on comfortably in the final frame against a Milwaukee team missing several inactive players, including Ousmane Dieng and Johni Broome.
