Minnesota Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo is on schedule, if not ahead of schedule, in his recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon according to his orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Martin O'Malley. Both DiVincenzo and the franchise expect him to return to the court at some point during the 2026-2027 NBA regular season.
DiVincenzo suffered the torn right Achilles tendon in April 2026 during Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs against the Denver Nuggets. Before the injury, the guard started all 82 regular-season games for Minnesota, averaging 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.
