From showing up at each other’s games to celebrating their respective playoff runs, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton have built a wholesome bond in professional sports.
Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton revealed in a podcast teaser that he refused to root for Caitlin Clark during her college career due to the fierce in-state rivalry between Iowa State and the University of Iowa. While Haliburton acknowledged Clark was the best player in the country, his loyalty to the Iowa State Cyclones prevented him from supporting the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Haliburton stated he only began cheering for Clark once she entered the WNBA with the Indiana Fever. Since becoming pro stars sharing an arena in Indiana, the two have established a close friendship and frequently attend each other's games.
