The Detroit Pistons overhauled their roster during the 2026 NBA offseason through several key signings, trades, and draft selections. Detroit acquired forward John Collins from the Los Angeles Clippers on a three-year, $51 million deal as part of an intricate six-team trade that also netted veterans Gary Harris and Taurean Prince. Additionally, the franchise re-signed shooting guard Kevin Huerter to a three-year, $27 million contract and retained Javonte Green on a one-year deal.

In the draft, Detroit traded up with the Memphis Grizzlies to select Ebuka Okorie at No. 17 overall and purchased the rights to Ugonna Onyenso at No. 53 from the New York Knicks. The team also acquired sharpshooter Isaiah Joe from the Oklahoma City Thunder for two future second-round picks, while parting ways with Isaiah Stewart, Marcus Sasser, and Caris LeVert.
