Former Warriors Guard Jordan Poole Gets Major Boost From New Pelicans Coach

New Orleans Pelicans guard Jordan Poole has received a major boost from new head coach Jamahl Mosley, who is giving every player a clean slate heading into the season. Poole stated that Mosley wants him to play-make, score, and provide championship-level experience. After struggling across recent seasons with the Washington Wizards and Pelicans, Poole noted that a fresh start was exactly what he needed.

Poole is expected to offer offensive spark and playmaking off the bench alongside Bennedict Mathurin while committing to Mosley's defensive focus. Despite the roster additions, The Athletic's John Hollinger projected the Pelicans to finish 12th in the Western Conference with a 32-50 record, noting their success relies heavily on a healthy Zion Williamson.
