The Story in 60 Seconds

The New Orleans Pelicans have signed free agent forward Jalon Moore, the team announced in a press release. The agreement is likely an Exhibit 10 deal, positioning the 23-year-old to potentially earn a bonus worth up to $91,000 if he is waived and spends at least 60 days with the G League affiliate Birmingham Squadron. To finalize Moore's addition, the Pelicans waived big man Christian Koloko, returning the roster to the 21-player preseason limit.

Moore previously went undrafted in 2025 after tearing his Achilles during a pre-draft workout with San Antonio. Following a missed season, the 6-foot-7 forward returned to action during the 2026 Las Vegas Summer League, where he posted 6.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game across three appearances for New Orleans.
