The New Orleans Pelicans are in an undeniably tough position right now. After finishing with a 26-56 record last season, they lack veteran leadership as well as a clear plan or vision for the future.
New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson has reportedly slimmed down to 271 pounds heading into his seventh NBA season. Williamson's trainer, Chrisp, revealed the weight drop from Williamson's previously listed 284 pounds following an intensive offseason training regimen together.
Fadeaway World suggests Williamson's improved conditioning could lead to a career-best campaign and help prevent recurring injuries. Last season, Williamson played a career-high 62 games, averaging 21.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per contest for the rebuilding Pelicans.
