New York Knicks head coach Mike Brown decided to take a light-hearted approach while heaping praise on Josh Hart’s toughness as it was revealed that he was playing through a finger injury.
New York Knicks head coach Mike Brown playfully addressed Josh Hart's finger injury during a press conference while praising the player's dedication and toughness. Brown joked that Hart's finger is "ugly" while highlighting his willingness to work hard despite playing through the issue. Hart previously confirmed on X that he will not undergo another surgery and plans to play with his finger wrapped for the rest of his career.
Hart was an essential contributor to the Knicks' championship run last season, averaging 10.4 points and 8.9 rebounds in the playoffs. During the regular season, the 31-year-old shot a career-high 41.3% from three-point range and made 40% of his shots from beyond the arc in the NBA Finals.
