Knicks Bulletin: ‘I talked to our guys about this’

Knicks head coach Mike Brown addressed how the team plans to handle defending their championship title and replacing center Mitchell Robinson following Robinson's departure to Boston. Brown explained that he spoke with the players about his past experience with Golden State, noting that Andre Drummond will not be expected to directly imitate Robinson, but rather the entire roster must collectively step up defensively and on the boards.

The bulletin also gathered quotes from players and analysts ahead of opening night and the upcoming banner-raising ceremony at Madison Square Garden. Jalen Brunson praised Brown's personal approach to leadership, while agent Mark Bartelstein discussed guard Deuce McBride's desire for a contract extension before heading toward free agency.
