Miles McBride addressed his unresolved contract extension negotiations with the New York Knicks, expressing his desire to remain in New York while leaving discussions to his agency and the front office. Head coach Mike Brown affirmed his confidence that team president Leon Rose and McBride's representation will work out an agreement, noting that both sides want the guard to remain with the organization.
Brown also confirmed the team is actively searching for center depth, highlighting the camp addition of Tony Bradley and plans to utilize Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby in versatile frontcourt roles. Meanwhile, Landry Shamet reflected on the stability provided by his new contract following the team's championship run.
