The New York Knicks were just granted the kill shot of all kill shots in their long-standing rivalry with Reggie Miller.
NBC Sports announced that Hall of Fame rival Reggie Miller will serve as an on-air commentator for the New York Knicks' season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers. The writer Mark Nilon frames this assignment as an ultimate form of torture, noting Miller will witness the Knicks' championship ring ceremony and banner raising at Madison Square Garden.
In addition to the broadcast news, the article highlights Knicks star Jalen Brunson, who appeared fully healthy in preseason action following offseason wrist surgery. Brunson posted 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists in 15 minutes during a preseason victory over the 76ers.
