This isn't the first time that Mikal Bridges has gone through a rough stretch with the Knicks.

Daily Knicks writer Kenny Kluska argues that Mikal Bridges deserves patience despite a slow start to the regular season. Bridges shot 2-for-8 in the season opener and went 0-for-8 from the field in Friday's defeat against the Boston Celtics. Across the first two games, Bridges has averaged 2.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while shooting 0-for-7 from three-point range.
Kluska highlights that Bridges previously overcame similar scoring slumps, including a scoreless playoff outing against the Atlanta Hawks before helping New York secure the title. While Bridges was pulled in the fourth quarter on Friday as Miles McBride and Landry Shamet saw extended minutes, Kluska contends that the forward has demonstrated an ability to bounce back from difficult stretches.
