The Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks lead Sportico's 2026 NBA franchise valuations, according to a report by Kurt Badenhausen. Golden State tops the league for the sixth consecutive year with a projected value of $14.5 billion, representing a 28 percent increase from the previous year. The Knicks rank second at $12.8 billion, edging past the Los Angeles Lakers at $12.5 billion.
Across the entire league, the average NBA franchise value rose 21 percent to $6.64 billion, bringing the collective value of all 30 teams to $199 billion. Golden State also generated an estimated league-leading $895 million in revenue last season.
