The Orlando Magic are facing some injuries to enter the season. But they are optimistic any absences will be short to start the season.

The Orlando Magic are maintaining an optimistic outlook ahead of their season opener against the Atlanta Hawks despite several early injury setbacks. Forward Franz Wagner has been cleared to play on Wednesday after avoiding a serious shoulder injury in Friday's preseason finale. Jase Richardson has also been removed from the injury report following recent lower back soreness, keeping the starting lineup intact for opening night.
However, the team will still miss several key contributors as the regular season begins. Anthony Black and Jonathan Isaac were ruled out for Wednesday's contest as they continue rehabilitation and conditioning, though both participated fully in practice. Meanwhile, Noah Penda faces an extended absence after suffering a partially torn right hamstring during Friday's game.
