Don’t forget about Labaron Philon

Liberty Ballers highlights rookie guard Labaron Philon, Jr. as a standout at Philadelphia 76ers training camp after being selected 22nd overall in the 2026 draft. Head coach Nick Nurse praised the 20-year-old Alabama product for his strong defensive compete level, court vision, and natural ability to command and run the offense during practice.

Philon was acquired with the first-round pick received when Daryl Morey traded Jared McCain to Oklahoma City. Surrounded by veteran stars including LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, and Tyrese Maxey, Philon noted he is focused on making simple plays and learning directly from his experienced teammates.
