Joel Embiid has spent years watching Philadelphia rebuild around him, one season after another, yet still has not reached the conference finals. Now the franchise has a supporting cast unlike any he’s had before, with LeBron James and Jaylen Brown…
SiriusXM analyst Justin Termine criticized Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid after Embiid preached patience regarding team chemistry. Speaking to ESPN's Malika Andrews, Embiid highlighted the challenge of quickly building chemistry despite a star-studded roster featuring LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Maxey, and V.J. Edgecombe. In response, Termine argued on X that Embiid is already making excuses despite playing alongside an exceptionally talented supporting cast.
The 76ers feature significant additions, including James on a two-year, $8 million deal and Brown following an MVP-caliber season. Embiid emphasized the locker room's mix of veteran leadership and young talent, while noting he is in a good spot physically and mentally following past injuries.
