The NBA season is about to tip off, and this is how all 30 teams rank.

The Big Lead has released its preseason power rankings for all 30 teams ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season. The outlet places the defending champion New York Knicks at the top spot following their preseason campaign, directly ahead of the Victor Wembanyama-led San Antonio Spurs at number two. The Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers, and Denver Nuggets round out the top five contenders.
At the bottom of the list, the Memphis Grizzlies are ranked 30th despite a 3-1 preseason record, with the Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings, and Milwaukee Bucks positioned just above them. The rankings highlight major roster shifts across the league, including LeBron James joining the 76ers, Giannis Antetokounmpo teaming with Bam Adebayo in Miami, and Kawhi Leonard returning to Toronto.
