The Philadelphia 76ers announced several newcomers available to play in their preseason opener against the New York Knicks on Monday night. Offseason addition Jaylen Brown is scheduled to make his team debut, alongside VJ Edgecombe, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Ariel Hukporti, Labaron Philon Jr., and Dean Wade.
Brown is expected to play a limited role as the team works on building chemistry. Head coach Nick Nurse hopes to play the majority of his full roster together in two of Philadelphia's remaining three preseason contests before the regular season begins.
