Jamaree Bouyea is falling out of Coach Ott's plans at the worst time as they look for an unlikely spark to get them back to winning ways.

Writer Luke Duffy argues that Phoenix Suns head coach Jordan Ott has seemingly lost confidence in point guard Jamaree Bouyea during a team slump. Despite playing 46 games last season and seeing solid preseason action, Bouyea has been limited to just five minutes per contest across two appearances in the early regular season.
According to Duffy, the Suns' league-worst defensive rating prevents Ott from utilizing Bouyea's niche perimeter defense alongside Jordan Goodwin. The writer suggests Bouyea could regain a role if Jalen Green is moved to the bench, but otherwise faces continued DNPs.
