Dillon Brooks was ejected from Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul for kicking Jamal Murray in the groin area. The incident occurred midway through the third quarter while Brooks was attempting a jumper during the Phoenix Suns' loss.
Suns coach Jordan Ott and Murray both indicated that the kick was not malicious, referencing their competitive history and shared time on the Canadian national team. Ott argued that the ejection was unwarranted, while Murray noted that their ongoing trash talk during games is normal.
