The Suns pick up options on Khaman Maluach and Ryan Dunn

The Phoenix Suns announced they have exercised their team options on young prospects Khaman Maluach and Ryan Dunn for the 2027-28 season. The move extends Dunn into the fourth and final year of his rookie contract, while Maluach enters his third year. Phoenix continues to secure its young core alongside players like Oso Ighodaro, Rasheer Fleming, and Koa Peat.

Maluach is currently competing with Ighodaro for the starting center spot with Mark Williams sidelined due to injury. Meanwhile, the Suns remain invested in Dunn's defensive versatility and athleticism despite a sophomore slump, prioritizing young roster retention amid limited future draft capital.
