Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams suffered a severe lower leg injury during Sunday night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Williams landed awkwardly on a drive to the basket with just over a minute remaining and was stretchered off the court after receiving immediate medical attention. The Thunder went on to defeat the Clippers 108-101 despite the incident.
Williams gave a double thumbs-up as he exited the floor and is expected to receive a formal diagnosis on Monday. The injury occurred amid a string of early-season NBA setbacks, including injuries to Paolo Banchero, Jalen Duren, and Cooper Flagg.
