A steady stream of talent flowing from a team’s G League affiliate to its NBA squad is immensely valuable. Ian Finlayson looks at which players from the 905 are next in line to contribute for the Raptors.

Raptors 905 begins its 2026-27 G League season with the Tip-Off Tournament on Friday against the College Park Skyhawks, featuring several potential Toronto Raptors contributors. Rookie second-round pick Jaden Bradley stands out as a primary candidate for G League development assignments. Meanwhile, Kevin McCullar Jr., Malachi Smith, and Nate Bittle fill Toronto's two-way contract slots, providing flexible depth between the NBA club and its Mississauga affiliate.
The 905 roster is also bolstered by seven-foot-five rim protector Jamarion Sharp and a club-record-tying five returning players, including Tyreke Key and Tyson Degenhart. The affiliate undergoes leadership changes as head coach Noah Lewis and general manager Scott Brown Jr. take over. The team opens its home schedule on November 11 against the Greensboro Swarm before the regular season begins on December 27.
