Ben Simmons and Sacramento Kings teammate Daeqwon Plowden drew online criticism following training camp footage that captured their poor jump-shooting form. Simmons, who missed the entire 2025-26 season, recently returned to the NBA by signing a one-year, $3.5 million contract with Sacramento.
A clip shared by Brenden Nunes of Sactown Sports 1140 showed Simmons repeatedly missing three-point attempts as he works off rust. Yardbarker notes that while Simmons is a career 55.8 percent shooter from the field, he has made just 5 of 36 career three-point attempts, highlighting that Sacramento did not sign him to stretch the floor.
