Veteran NBA point guard Cameron Payne has signed a one-year contract with Turkish club Anadolu Efes, according to a report relayed by Sportando. The 32-year-old moves back overseas after working out for the Sacramento Kings in August but failing to secure a standard NBA contract for the upcoming season.
Payne spent the previous season split between Serbia's KK Partizan and the Philadelphia 76ers, who signed him in February before waiving him prior to the postseason. A former 2015 first-round draft pick, Payne has played in 499 career NBA regular-season games across stints with seven different franchises.
