Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green addressed a viral mid-game interaction with Sacramento Kings rookie Darius Acuff Jr. during an October 11 preseason contest. Speaking on his podcast, Green explained that he advised the rookie to share the ball more frequently, warning him that dominating possessions could lead to resentment and frustration among his teammates.
Acuff, the seventh overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft from Arkansas, scored 25 points and added eight assists in the game. The 19-year-old Michigan native noted afterward that he is eager to learn from anyone as he focuses on helping the Kings improve following a 22-win season.
