After a disastrous season-opener, the Sacramento Kings need to bench De'Andre Hunter and start Precious Achiuwa.
Writer Ian Goodwillie argues that the Sacramento Kings should insert Precious Achiuwa into the starting lineup in place of De'Andre Hunter. The recommendation follows Sacramento's 121-96 season-opening loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, ahead of their home matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The writer notes that Hunter struggled with six points and four fouls in under 20 minutes, whereas Achiuwa delivered 15 points, five rebounds, and strong defense in 29 minutes off the bench. Sacramento entered the opener depleted, missing Ben Simmons, Malik Monk, Maxime Raynaud, and Dylan Cardwell due to injuries.
