Zach LaVine addressed leadership and execution issues after the Sacramento Kings fell to an 0-3 start following a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Despite scoring 37 points, LaVine noted that the team currently lacks established high-level leadership from either a veteran player or the coaching staff, adding that collective adjustments will take time.
Head coach Doug Christie accepted personal blame for the fourth-quarter collapse and failure to close out the game. LaVine also highlighted critical mistakes, specifically pointing to Sacramento allowing offensive rebounds as costly backbreakers during the defeat.
